OUR MINISTRIES
The deacons play two very special roles in our church. First, they serve on the deacon board, which governs the business activities of the church. Secondly, they assist Pastor Wallace in ministering to the individual families of our church. We meet the 3rd Monday of each month at 6pm.
Here at SBC, if you have a pulse, we have a Sunday School class for you. Some of the discusions may be just what you need to get that blood pumping.

This is a group made up of our seasoned citizens of the church family. They are an independent bunch of characters that get together and explore all types of adventurous things. Dining, tours and afternoon excursions are just some of the things on their list.
Children
Children’s Ministry at SBC is for children’s 1st – 5th grade. We are so blessed to have great volunteers who have worked in children’s ministry for years. Children will be active in learning songs, biblical truths and make fun crafts. Our Children’s ministry includes:

The Youth Ministry at SBC is for students in grades 6th 12th. The Youth Ministry name is all about Making A Difference. Our goal is to teach biblical principles that will Make A Difference in their lives. As God begins to Make A Difference in their life they will begin to Make A Difference in the lives of others. We always have a great time of worship and bible study on Wednesday Nights and Sunday mornings. Please join us in sharing in life changing moments together.

Music
The choir at SBC adds an element of warmth to our church services that we know you will enjoy and get a blessing from. If singing is what you love, we would love to have you join us in the choir. We meet on Wednesday evenings at 5pm to practice.
We also have a Handbell Choir that rehearses at 4:15pm on Wednesdays.
We have many different areas of Missions in our church. We have two main groups that help with this outreach: Adults on Mission and the Olive Branch group. We have Mission Trips that we go on yearly to help those around us as well. It is our desire to help those in need.
